Collection of prebuilt packages for Linux distributions
#1
Hi guys,

the old forum had a list of prebuilt packages. That's useful for Linux users, so here it is:
  • Ubuntu 12.04:
PPA for version 0.38
PPA for version 0.44
  • Arch Linux:
0.4.6 on archlinuxgr | Instructions
Current GIT from AUR
  • Slackware64 14.2/current:
Latest GIT version
  • openSUSE:
0.4.5.1

I've also mirrored the two content packs for 0.4.
You can find them here for download.

Have fun,
schmatzler

Maybe you can try to compile it yourself. If you use linux then you must be familiar with the terminal. So give it a shot. And if you run into troubles. Take your questions to https://gitter.im/RigsOfRods/rigs-of-rods

Because RoR has so many dependencies and some of them don't have build targets for static builds there are no static binaries to download. The only option is to compile yourself or wait for this: https://github.com/RigsOfRods/rigs-of-rods/issues/800 but there is no ETA.
